I am L, and this is my blog.
I’ve been online for many years and in that time, I have participated in a number of online journals and diaries. The content of those has generally been personal and family-oriented, though some of the posts have strayed into the political, social, cultural, and global. I plan to use this blog to focus on the political and social issues both in my local community and the national/global community, to participate in the activist blogosphere, to critique the comfortable, to editorialize the editors at large.
That said, this blog and its contents will likely evolve with time and as I figure out my place and voice in the blogosphere. Regardless of the content, though, I will be as ethical, fair, and just as possible in what I write. I welcome discussion, disagreement and critique (especially privilege-checks), but welcoming should not be confused with acquiescing, agreement or subservience of any sort. I don’t back down easily.
So, stick around and see what happens.
